A database program with no delete?!!

I was enjoying using this program until I created a new category and wanted to move one of my recipes into this new category. There’s no move button. I tried clicking on the recipe and drag-drop to the new category: there’s no drag-and-drop!
I then tried deleting the new category, and there is NO WAY to delete a category! You can only delete recipes.
Suddenly the usability of this program has dropped to almost 0. I’m going to chuck it and buy another one. Argh!
